OEC Clinical Trial Site and Health Centre
OEC (Óbudai Egészségügyi Centrum Kft) has served patients as a health centre and clinical trial site since 1997. The institution initially provided core private healthcare services; however, growing Sponsor and CRO demand made clinical drug research and the introduction of innovative therapies its principal activity.
In a purpose-designed environment, experienced investigators — fluent in English and holding GCP qualifications — conduct phase II-IV clinical trials of medicinal products and medical devices, as well as non-interventional studies. OEC’s investigators are specialist physicians with established clinical practice, large patient populations and, in many cases, decades of clinical trial experience. They are supported by trained, experienced, full-time study coordinators and study nurses, a modern equipment fleet and up-to-date office and IT infrastructure. Across our institutions, both innovative therapies and private healthcare are delivered with full regard to patient expectations, industry requirements and the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
In response to growing demand, our Health Centre has provided patients with access to modern therapies in Zalaegerszeg and Dunaújváros since 2020, and in Kaposvár since 2023.

To maximise its effectiveness, OEC invests significant financial and human resources in modern medical equipment and in the professional development of its staff. OEC also operates as an incubator for research professionals: we combine the accumulated expertise of experienced lead investigators with the energy, research ambition and patient networks of younger sub-investigators.
